This Easter, we had an Easter egg hunt in the park with a bunch of little ones from school. Sophia didn't really get what was going on until she found her first egg. It didn't take long after that. I felt kind of bad because she didn't actually decorate any eggs. We got back late from Hong Kong on Saturday, so I figured she should go straight to bed and I would get the eggs ready.
Last Sunday, we decided to try a boat ride in the park across the street. Sophia liked it, but honestly the little lake isn't big enough to explore for very long. A half hour is just right.

We decided to have some Chinese silk pillows made at this shop, but in the end they didn't have the fabric we wanted. Tailors like this can make just about anything.
At the bottom of our apartment, there is a little kiosk that sells steamed buns every morning. Sophia's favorite is the warm soy milk. You can get buns with meat or vegetables. You can also get different kinds of steamed bread and rolls. Up above is the steamer that they use. (I have no idea why I can't get the link off the text.)
Shopping for shoes in Luohu. When you need a different size, the workers shimmy up that ladder in the back corner. I wonder where it leads...
One of those minor differences in Hong Kong. You look down at the street and it tells you which way to watch for cars before you cross the road.
We took a trip to Hong Kong a little while ago. Here's Sophia looking all grown up at the gate of the zoo/botanical gardens. 
Being two is hard work. We woke up to find Sophia curled up in the chair like this in the morning. Apparently, she got up, put on her fancy shoes, and fell back to sleep in the chair. A perfect fit.
