We forgot one thing from our second day in Prague. When we didn't have enough money for the castle, we thought it was just as good to go visit the medieval torture museum. We saw some interesting, yet disturbing sites. They had real exhibits such as a beheading block and axe, an iron maiden, a contraption where they lower you onto a large traingular post (use your imagination as to what part of the body that injures), a streching rack, a breaking wheel, etc.... There were lots of gruesome instruments of torture. It was really amazing all the different ways people could be tortured. It made capital punishment now-a-days look mild. We thought the worst instrument of torture was when they turned you upside down and used a two-person saw to cut you in half starting between the legs. Disgusting.
We couldn't leave out that tiny morsel of information from our blog. Sorry, they wouldn't let us take pictures.
