I went to the doctor today. I had a glucose tolerance test which involved fasting, a blood test, a nasty glucose drink, a two-hour wait, and another blood test. I also had to get another shot today. I was really proud of myself. I didn't even feel faint like I usually do.I also got another scan and was pleasantly surprised to find out that they could do a 3D scan. Unfortunately, the baby wasn't really cooperating. She had both hands and a foot in front of her face. She also has the umbilical cord resting across her chin. To me, she looks a lot like Sophia. It was fun getting a picture of her in there. Plus, I reconfirmed that's she's more than "most likely a girl." She's got girl parts.
Won't be long and she'll be here. Just 12 more weeks. It's coming so fast, yet I know it will seem like a long time. I asked Sophia if she wanted to feel the baby move and she said, "Maybe tomorrow." I guess that's an improvement. She didn't pretend to take the baby out of my tummy and eat it like she usually does. I know, that's weird. Well, anyway, we'll see if this baby turns out to be a little Joe Junior look-alike too!
